Degree Application Deadline

Last day for Graduate & Undergraduate students to submit a degree application online through myBama.

Only after petition and approval by the student's college will an application be accepted after the published deadline. If approved, the student will be assessed a $25 non-refundable late fee in addition to the degree application fee.

Last Day to Drop a Course with a Grade of "W" for Summer Full Term

This is a student's last opportunity to drop a course. Drops after this date must be approved and processed by the student's college.

Last Day to Withdraw from the Summer Full, Summer 2, and All Summer Terms

This is the last day students have to withdraw from the term (all classes) without requiring approval from the student's college Dean's office. Withdrawals from the Law School always require approval from the Dean's office.

Final Exams - Thursday

8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.: Classes which first meet between 7:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.

2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Classes which first meet between 12:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.

6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.: Classes which first meet between 4:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Final Exams - Friday

8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.: Classes which first meet between 10:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.: Classes which first meet 6:00 p.m. or later along with conflicts and courses not scheduled otherwise

Final Grade Entry Deadline (11:59 p.m.)

Grades for all summer classes are due tonight at 11:59 p.m. Any missing grades as of the 11:59 p.m. deadline will result in grades of "N" being assigned as placeholders. Instructors will then be required to submit grade change requests to correct all "N" grades. Transfer Credit Deadline for Undergraduate Degree Candidates

Deadline for receipt of transfer credit (on an official transcript) for undergraduate degree candidates. If transfer credit is not received by this date, the degree application will be denied and a new degree application will have to be submitted in a future term.

Degree Completion & Diploma Address Deadline

All degrees will be either awarded or denied by the Degree Completion Deadline; no degrees will be awarded after the published deadline. It is the responsibility of the degree candidate to ensure all requirements are met at the end of the term by the published deadline. This will be the last day for edits to the diploma mailing address and diploma name submitted on the degree application. This can be reviewed by accessing the View Graduation Applications link in myBama. Changes submitted after this date will not be taken into consideration.

Diplomas will be shipped approximately three weeks after this deadline. A notification will be sent to the Crimson email account when the diploma has shipped.
